Dr. Archana Narayan offers a full range of allergy and immunology services at North Texas Allergy & Asthma Associates. Since joining the practice in 2016, she has provided medical care to patients at two locations in North Texas, Dallas and Plano. Her patients receive personalized medical treatments based on each patient’s lifestyle to obtain the best outcome for each individual. Dr. Narayan’s areas of specialization include asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, eczema, and food allergies. She welcomes adults, but also has extensive experience and training in pediatrics.
Dr. Narayan graduated with a double degree in biochemistry and religion from the University of Rochester, then received her Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in general pediatrics at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at New York Medical College, then did her fellowship training in allergy and immunology at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, New York.
During her fellowship training, Dr. Narayan was awarded the 2005 American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Second Place Clemens von Pirquet Award for best research in allergy and immunology. She’s board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
After practicing for several years at an Allergy and Asthma specialty group near Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Narayan relocated to the Dallas area to be close to her extended family. She’s thrilled to called herself a new Texan who looks forward to offering medical care to the surrounding community. When she’s not working with patients, Dr. Narayan treasures spending time with her husband and two sons, whose laughter and energy renew her soul. She also practices yoga, enjoys being outdoors and has a passion for the art of dance.
